"Social worker" note template

NoteDx now allows social workers to use the new user profile (note template) "Social Worker" in the drop-down menu of the different template profiles available.

Each user can then modify the sections of the main template by adding sections or modifying them to better customize according to their needs.

Export the dictated note in PDF format on AH-253 sheet for printing

For those who do not have an electronic note system or EMR and need to print their note to include in the medical chart, you can now export the dictated note in PDF format on a standard green bordered progress sheet.

Word-for-word dictation option

You can now check this option and NoteDx will fully preserve the text content of the dictation in the generated note.

However, AI will not be functional when this mode is chosen to generate the note.

The scribe will then need to be guided by specifying specific orders to give an organized structure to the note: for example, you must specify "Hx" or "PAST MED Hx" or "HABITS" or "EXAM" or "Dx" or "PLAN" and then dictate the content that follows each of the sections.

You must also specify "next paragraph" or "next line" to organize the note.

The "word for word" mode allows to respect the detailed phrased content and becomes relevant in certain cases where it is necessary to respect the subjective data expressed by the patient or by the clinician. We are thinking here of complex, difficult, conflicting clinical situations or those with medico-legal issues.

Attention! Conversation mode will not work when using "word for word" mode

Integration of the "multi-complaints" function

The "multi-complaints" feature is now enabled for users of the follow-up note template in "General Medicine" and "Medical Specialties" only.

Clinicians in family medicine or internal medicine must deal with patients who often present with multiple active problems, as opposed to the primary problem that constitutes an emergency department visit.

Using the “General Medicine” and “Medical Specialties” note template, the clinician can dictate their note normally and the AI scribe will automatically detect if multiple chief complaints are mentioned.

For each issue requiring follow-up mentioned in the transcript, the scribe will put an appropriate subsection heading and then integrate the elements of the transcript that are relevant to each section (complaint).

Please note: multi-complaints only work for “General Medicine” and “Specialized Medicine” note template follow -ups.

Multi-complaints does not work with the "Emergencies/one-off visit" note template or with other note templates.

Here is an example of a note dictated and generated with the multi-complaint:
