Keyboard Shortcuts

The Keyboard Shortcuts feature allows you to create custom commands using $ shortcuts to simplify your note-writing process. This is particularly useful for inserting common phrases, clinical commands, or diagnostic tools into your notes effortlessly.

How to Create, Edit, and Delete Shortcuts

1. Access Shortcuts: Go to the “Keyboard Shortcuts” from a medical note.

2. Create a Shortcut: Click the + icon to add a new shortcut.

• Name your shortcut: E.g., sleep for inserting standard sleep questions or gencounsel for general counseling notes.

• Define the Text: Write the text or command you want to trigger when the shortcut is used. For example:

sleep could insert: “The patient reports no significant disturbances in sleep, maintaining 7-8 hours of rest each night.”

3. Use Your Shortcuts: When typing your notes, simply use the $<shortcut> command, and the app will replace it with the predefined text.

Editing and Deleting Shortcuts:

• Edit: Click on any existing shortcut to modify its text or command.

• Delete: Tap the trash bin icon next to the shortcut to remove it.

💡 Tip: Customize shortcuts based on your most frequently used phrases to save time.
